Our Team

Dr. Dharamsi ("Jenny") grew up in the small South Texas town of Beeville. After graduating as valedictorian, Jenny moved to Nashville to attend Vanderbilt University on a merit scholarship, where she double majored in molecular and cell biology and Spanish literature. Next, she headed to Baltimore to attend Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where she served as a class officer and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society for being among the top in her class. Prior to graduating from Hopkins in 2008, she completed a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD, where she studied the molecular basis of skin cancer.

After completing her medical and pediatric internship at Georgetown University in the Washington, D.C. area, Dr. Dharamsi returned home to Texas for her dermatology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, which is considered among the top dermatology programs in the nation.  After serving as Chief Resident her senior year, she graduated from residency and received her certification from the American Board of Dermatology in the summer of 2012.

With Dr. Dharamsi’s extensive knowledge in dermatology and research, she serves as the Principle Investigator (PI) for Legacy Research Center.

Keisha joins Legacy Dermatology & Legacy Research Center with 17 years of dedicated experience in clinical research. A highly skilled Registered Nurse and Certified Clinical Research Coordinator specializing in dermatology, Keisha has participated in more than 250 clinical trials throughout her career.

A respected voice in the field, Keisha has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is also passionate about advancing researcher education and has led numerous preceptorships designed to enhance the understanding of practical dermatology and treatment among pharmaceutical companies, research professionals, and patients.

Throughout her career, Keisha has been committed to bridging the gap between clinical research and patient care. Her goal is to help translate advances in dermatologic research into meaningful, real-world benefits for patients living with skin disorders.

Keisha Neal, RN

Darren grew up in Port Neches, a small town in South East Texas. He was very active with various community service organizations in and around his home town. He then went to Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas where he majored in Business Administration.

After his undergraduate studies, Darren worked as the Chief Operations Officer for a prominent orthopedic group in Austin, Texas where he grew the business opening new locations and onboarding new physicians. During his time there, he took a short leave to attend St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas where he completed his graduate studies and received his Masters in Business Administration. He then returned to the orthopedic group and continued the business growth.

After several years, he accepted a position in Dallas, Texas and has been the Chief Operations Officer for Legacy Dermatology & Restoration Center as well as the Chief Operations Officer for Legacy Research Center. Darren has two decades of managing and growing medical practices and is excited to help others reach their maximum potential.
